Conrad Krez Conrad Krez (1828 - 1897) was a politician and military officer. ==Biography== Krez was born on April 27, 1828 in Landau, Bavaria, Germany. He attended the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Heidelberg University.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Krez, Conrad 1828 - 1897 )〕 After the failed Revolutions of 1848 in the German states, Krez fled to France. In 1851, he moved to the United States and settled in New York City. The following year, he married Adolphine Stemmler.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=General Conrad Krez )〕 They would have seven children. His son was Judge Paul T. Krez who was Sheboygan County judge and his grandson was Frederick W. Krez who also served in the Wisconsin State Assembly.〔'Judge Paul T. Krez-obituary,' Ironwood Daily Globe (Michigan), July 20, 1932〕 In 1854, he and his family moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
